Not long ago Elon Musk bought the company Neuralink that develops a technology called the "neural lace".
What is the neural lace?
The neural lace is a ultra-thin mesh that can be injected right into the brain where it fixes itself to the braincells and is able to monitor your brain function.
It's not quite known in which state the technology is right now.
Why is Elon Musk doing that?
You may heard that Elon Musk is very afraid of AI. He fears that soon humanity will not be able to keep pace with Super-AI.
So he thinks the only way we don't become the house cats of our own AI is by becoming the AI ourself.
Of course, there are many positive and negative ways this technology can be used.
Watch this video here if you want to learn more about this technology:
I personally don't know what to think about this neural lace stuff.
I fear a little bit thinking about that all humans will have technology in the brain.
Will we still talk when we have this? Why should we talk when transmitting the data trough our computer brain will be much faster?
Will stupidity die out?
Will we become a super-AI collectively
This technology could change humanity forever and it's fucking scary.
What do you think about this neural lace stuff?
Would you let someone inject it into your brain?
Very much looking forward for your thoughts on this!
See you guys
Its because each passing day, AI is becoming smarter and smarter. Google's deep mind defeated one of the finest player in alpha go (Ancient Chinese game, It has billion billion possible combinations). Elon's open AI defeated top player in Dota. If the trend continues, a time will come when AI will surpass human intelligence and from that point onwards, we will not be able to understand what AI is doing or building around us. To prevent this we must understand what AI is doing so Elon proposed an embedding layer of advance computing around brain to make humans smarter. This sounds logical.
Yea but so scary xD
But yes I understand the logical aspect on that.
