I think that is a bit of an exaggeration lol but I get the point. 4GB RAM is very underwhelming and the fact it is designed with such a lightweight OS at that price is strange.

Definitely an exaggeration :) , but they asked for it when they effectively dressed up mid-range specs in a thinner, colored chassis in an attempt to pass this thing off as being anywhere near high-end.

Every absence in the reasonable expectations of this laptop's functionality (e.g. USB-C) screams "we wanted to be able to say it cost under a grand, so we scratched that off the list".

Haha, exactly. I think Microsoft is on the right track though, they are actually making an effort to launch a real competitor to the macbook, although they didn't nail it first time. If this was 8gb ram and had 1 usb I really wouldnt have any problem with this price point.
