The 23 years young Boyan Slat is creating a technology that could remove the plastic polution from our oceans.
Instead of going after the plastic, Boyan devised a system though which, driven by the ocean currents, the plastic would concentrate itself, reducing the theoretical cleanup time from millennia to mere years.
In February 2013 he start The Ocean Cleanup. The first cleanup prototype was deployed in June 2016, and The Ocean Cleanup now prepares to launch the first full-scale operational system into the Great Pacific Garbage Patch by early 2018.
The Ocean Cleanup will launch more than 60 miles barriers at strategics spots including one of the wrost places, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
The Ocean Cleanup has been chosen by TIME magazine as one of the 25 best inventions of 2015 and it can save a lot marine life.

Great.. awesome and extreme cleaner.. :D
We need to start ocean cleaning right away. There are so many plastic trash on it. I went to scuba diving last month and remember this post. I was very sad. Some of them i could grab and removed from water.
