Why Did Apple Remove it's home button? Is this the future of smartphones?

in #technology7 years ago

Have you ever seen the comic stripe where two smartphones look at a framed picture of an old wired telephone and say “Our ancestors had tails!”. This could change to “Our ancestors had Buttons!” in the future.

What are they?

Apple is the big picture in communication technology and most other things. What Apple does, others follow. They are trying to change how people interact with technology, and they will succeed. Removal of the headphone jack was the first thing they did, and now the home button. They remove old features to add more futuristic functions to its devices.

What they do?

How Apple did it was really impressive. They saw the possibility of its screen is expanded by removing the Home button which used a lot of space in the front. And how they did it? They created a new segment of touch commands that could do the same thing as the home button but more smarter and efficient. They created a problem, solved it, and introduced an awesome product. there's a high possibility Samsung following the same concept in the future.

Whats next?

See that black square in the top? yeah, thats what will go away, it could be the next thing they remove. Either the camera is embossed into the display or something really interesting. Stay tuned. its Apple, you’ll never know.
