Manufacturers of running video cards have helped miners and accidentally harmed gamers, provoking a deficit on the market. Information provided by Digital Trends.
Criminals began to massively buy video cards from AMD and Nvidia, which affected the fans of computer games. To stabilize the market, companies asked retailers to release no more than two devices in one hand. This solution did not solve the problem, because for gamers the products are too expensive.
Miners, on the contrary, quickly oriented and found a way out, having agreed with large suppliers, who get good discounts for ordering a large batch of goods. The market already has companies that deal exclusively with equipment for the extraction of electronic currency.
Josh Riddet, who founded Easy Crypto Hunter, said that Nvidia and AMD, with limited sales, exacerbated the situation, harming ordinary users. Major miners did not suffer from this, as they switched to GPU competitors' video cards.
Earlier, the card vendors refused to work with the miners.
