LG has just said he got a " aggressive investment" into robots . She cited no values or dates , however, it is a good indication that a "future" in which artificial intelligence is present in many aspects of our lives is getting closer.
According to Reuters, the South Korean company is "seeking to capitalize on the advancement of artificial intelligence that can eventually bring sophisticated machines to perform routine activities ."
In the statement , LG said the handset division is prepared to enter the product development area focused on the consumer 's home, such as refrigerators , washing machines and gadgets that condition the air.
"We are preparing for the future by investing aggressively in ' smart home ' , robots and key components that strengthen our business capabilities in home appliances ," said the company .
