Google assistant was initialy unveiled May 2016 as a part allo, it was initially exclusive to Pixel and pixel xl phones, but then began to be available to other phones February 2017, since its debut, it has been at war with other aassistants such as siri and amazon alexa, now witth the latest updates as anounced in the google i/o 2018 google has pretty much made the assistant to act and talk like humans, 6 new voices has been added including that of the the legendary John Legend, it can now make calls for you, like really? yes it can, as deemonstarted during the i/o by google ceo sundar pischai, the assistant was made to book a haircut appointment, the call was smooth, the salon attendant dare not guess that it was a because it didn't sound like one, it made the convesation go back and forth like a human would do, answering uncertain questions i was pretty much blown away and trust me this is just the beginning, although this may not be really applicable in third world countries where service systems are not organized, when the updates are released we did get to know more about the new things the assistant is capable of . you can watch a brief summary of day one of the event below,sorry about how disorganised this article is
