Long time no see

I barely log onto Hive at the moment and its not the platform to blame but my hectic life, Augusts are crazy months for my extended family, as it seems everyone was born this month for one and everyone is getting married this month. Sadly we also had a death, my brother-in-laws best mate was killed in an accident the same week that my sister in-law got married. So when I saw them this week, I was also photographing the wedding, it was a joyous occasion but we also toasted the life of a good man, who should have been with us, taken too soon.

Work has been stupid recently, with management bolting an extra piece of work onto a project we thought was done and dusted. I was asked to run it, which is fine because I’ve been pushing them to give me more leadership in my role. However this was all rather sloppy. Time to move on find something else? Am I just in need of a good holiday?

ModCaf - the music collective that I’m part of are launching a huge record very soon, on vinyl, cassette and digital. I have been given early access to the recordings to do a write-up on Substack but fear not I’ll post it here too.

Most important of all we are hosting a public listening party at the West End Centre in Aldershot on the 3rd October that evening and I will tell you more when I get an hour spare to write it up properly.
