You can get onboard WiFi package, not sure of costs but I imagine not cheap as it uses Inmarsat. My UK mobile contract includes free roaming in Europe so I use that when I'm on shore, otherwise have to rely on free with wifi at café or restaurants.
Lol...she will have to have the operation before she leaves to have the phone extracted from her hand !
