So I'd been thinking about delegating some SP to help the community members. After some considerations, I decided to make this more interesting and challenging.
There is no visibility if I simply delegate SP, you could end up doing nothing and wasting it, or self upvoting your own spam comments. What we like to see is for you to continue posting quality stuffs.
@qurator Tier
Therefore, we decided to start a new contest using @qurator. If you don't already know about qurator, please read this post first. Qurator is a great project that every minnow should join.
The contest
I will be delegating 300 SP to @qurator.
Each week, we will select a #teamsingapore member and award the winner a *Tier5 qurator status that lasts for at least one week. A Tier 5 upvote is currently worth about 5.5% of @qurator vp, or $1.28, every 24 hours.
For our nomination, we are looking for people who:
- Must already be a @qurator member with Tier 2 and below (unless you are the winner for previous week);
- Post regularly, preferably on a daily basis;
- Post quality contents, as per @qurator criteria;
- Reputation of 60 and below, and had not been earning much recently;
- Post in the #teamsingapore tag. If you use dapps like steepshot, take note some of the tags will not be used correctly. Eg, this post and this post.
The winner will be selected and announced every Sunday.
So, if you are not a @qurator member yet, you have 6 more days to get yourself qualified for this contest. Head over to @qurator to apply and get yourself approved. *Upvote 7+ times on qurator's posts to ensure a Tier 5 status if you are the winner of this contest.
Since we are already doing this....
I thought might as well share the same contest to our neighbour community #teammalaysia. So I will be delegating an additional 300SP to @qurator and a member of #teammalaysia will be selected each week as winner. The same requirements above apply.
I will try to contact some member of #teammalaysia to help in the nomination.
Note:
- It is possible for the same author to win consecutive weeks.
- It is also possible that no one is chosen as winner.

Oh that is totally ok. Most important is that this gift is given to the rightful individuals who are working hard to keep up that discipline with daily and great content.
I personally also have a hard time keeping up a post a day, and making sure that each post is worth while reading.
So it is not easy to be that good, but I know there are a few distinct of them do worth to have that little boost of blessing. :)

How can a winning author be winning for consecutive weeks when he/she has got promoted to Tier 5 since one of the criteria is "Tier 2 and below"?

Indeed. I find it really difficult to get Singaporeans to join. Probably we are all too skeptical and not willing to try things that might seem too good to be true. I have gotten a few more friends on board but they have not started posting yet.
