Congratulations Olga Danilovic!

You probably heard these days for Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic, an incredible seventeen-year-old girl who won the WTA tournament in Moscow. Her success is enhanced by the fact that she lost in qualifications for this tournament, but then enters the main draw in place of the withdrawn player - "lucky loser".

Road to the title

She won against:

  1. Schmiedlova (WTA list ranking - 83) 2:0
  2. Kanepi (WTA list ranking - 43) 2:0
  3. Goerges (WTA list ranking - 10) 2:0
  4. Sasnovich (WTA list ranking - 35) 2:1
  5. Potapova (WTA list ranking - 135) 2:1

She is the first lucky loser to win a WTA tournament! She is also the youngest title winner at tour level since Ana Konjuh's triumph at Nottingham in 2015. She had 49 winners and 46 unforced errors in the final, so we can see that she is reaaly agressive player!

I'm sure she will be the number one in the next few years because this kind of emotion and sacrifice in the game is absolutely rarely! Mark my words! :)

Sort:

Maybe next no1 after Monika Seleš, Jelena Jankovič and Ana Ivanovič.

She will be better, trust me! :)

Hopefully not feel satisfied with the current achievements, and do not hang out with celebrities because it can interfere with concentration.

Her father was famous basketball player, so she has that seriousness and professionalism required for success! :)

A very supportive environment for success.
