To let it hang, or to keep it tight?

So it recently came to my attention that there are an increasing number of couples who are having trouble in making babies. And what caught my attention even more is that your choice of underwear could actually be playing a role in you not being able to continue leaving a legacy in the form of a child. In other words, your inner garment might just be the cause of your infertility. For all the men out there, please spare a few minutes to read this article because for all you know, this article could ensure the continuity of your lineage.

Underwear! Infertility! How?

According to experts, half of the couples who face problems related to infertility are credited to the fact of low sperm count in the male species. This is because temperature of the testes plays a vital part in the production of sperms with not only quality but also quantity. Yes my fellow brothers, maintaining the temperature of your family jewels is important for the process of conceiving.

To put it in a slightly technical manner, the temperature of the testes should be lower than the core body temperature which is 37°C. This is one of the reasons as to why the testicles are located on the outside of a man’s body, to allow a sort of cooling ventilation system for the testicles. Kind of an ecosystem centered for the sake of the testicles.

What you can do about it?

This then raises questions of how can men ensure optimum temperature for the sake of their testes? Well, if you are planning to step into the world of fatherhood, and you have been wearing briefs your whole life, a good place to start would be to make the change to boxers instead, that is if going ‘commando’ seems a little bit too much for you.

Not boxer briefs though. I’m talking about the good old, air-friendly boxers that do not suffocate the genitals or the genital area. This means that you should also refrain from any form of tight pants, especially if you are sitting for a prolonged period. If you are fan of pants that outline the shape of your manhood, and planning to dive into the world of fatherhood at the same time, it is time to give up those pants for some time. Opt for the comfort of tracksuits or shorts that don’t strangle you for a while.

Yes, I said for a while. This is because the time needed for sperm to be produced is between 10 to 11 weeks. Thus, planning on the duration you wish to embark on going ‘commando’ or making the switch to boxer shorts depends entirely on the individual himself. Even if you have been wearing tighty whities, the switch to boxers will still be able to aid in the production of sperm of a more superior quality and quantity, if you will.

Other measures that you can take are to take it all off at home (assuming that the only ones at home is your other half who does not mind you being naked). Just bear it all and let it hang. Once you’re at home after a long day at work, you have to admit that you would feel better getting rid of the extra weightage that is your clothes. For all you know your other half would be turned on by the idea of her man walking around naked, Au’ Naturel. One thing leads to another and the two of you might be expecting a baby in the oven even sooner than you think! (You’re welcome).

All in all, the point of this article is to stress on the fact that you should wear boxers instead of briefs because it maintains and creates a comprehensive environment which could lead to your bundle of joy being born. If you still think that briefs makes you feel empowered and sexy, just remember that as much as you think it does or as much as it does, a switch to boxers for a while for the sake of your future children would not hurt.

Oh, you should also avoid steam baths, hot tubs, hot showers and saunas for obvious reasons.

What do you guys think about this? Do you prefer boxers or briefs? Or maybe you prefer going ‘commando’ altogether? I don’t judge. Girls and ladies, please feel free to chip in your opinions as well.
