Finally I can now monitor my mentions again thru Telegram
Previously I recommended the telegram app by @clayop as it worked very well to keep tabs on all my mentions in real time. It kinda stopped working after awhile and there was no updates.
Then I stumbled across this new ap from @ludorum
called @SteemChatBot
How to install
- You would require to have telegram installed on your laptop or mobile
- goto https://t.me/SteemChatBot
- it will open up telegram and all you have to do is click start.
Do this first after you click start
- type out the command /ui steemit ( this will enable you to use the steemit ui, type busy if that is your preferred choise )
- type /add accountname ( replace accountname with yours . do not need to add in the @ )
You are now set and ready to go. Each time someone mentions you, your telegram will receive a message like the picture below. Test out commenting on this post with your name once you installed it on your telegram .
Other Commands to navigate around
/add accountname : subscript account's mentions
/remove accountname : unsubscript account's mentions
/addignore accountname : ignore mentions from account
/removeignore accountname : unignore mentions from account
/ui : set your ui (steemit|steemkr|busy)
/help : see command and your configuration
All credit goes to @ludorum for making possible once again. I missed out on mentions so many times. With this, I get real time notification onces again.
This is great, now I can keep tabs of all the mentions. Also like to wish yo a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Hoping that Team Malaysia will continue to grow and be more influential.

Now I need an app that track my follower that votes me, that can be export in CSV or any form of tabulated data.
You can farm it out using steemsql
Sadly my sql is very very very rusty

yea .. telegram works for me as i already have it . don't really fancy to install another app just for mentions

Do you feel this is better than Steemify (if you have an iPhone that is)
I've been looking for a good notification app, eSteem doesn't even send me notifications. So far the only viable option has been steemify for me.
i'm already a telegram user so its very relevant to me as I do not need to install another app. have not really tried steemify so can't really compare
Makes sense, I'm active in more Telegram channels than I know what to do with. I'll check it out!
But if you do have an iPhone, definitely check out Steemify, I love it!

This post was very helpful - I've been using this telegram bot for quite a while just needed to know how to change it pointing to steemkr - which you answered for me.
Issue remains, I wanted to see votes, comments and mentions all in one telegram bot - SteemAlert by Tabris does it all with updates coming to allow multiple accounts.
