Was thinking random thoughts this morning and just wanna put it out there...
I have a feeling Hollywood is gonna release some type of Warhammer 40k franchise in the next 10-15 years.
What's Warhammer 40k?
Imagine a humanity where we travel the stars and colonize planet yet society has regressed to barbarism and the only hope of survival is eeking out an existence in with the Imperium, a tyrannical, oppressive, zenophobic, fanatic regime because anything else is literally death.
Aliens of all sorts constantly wage war with us. Some whose existence as a species is to literally make war and nothing else. Didn't pray and keep your heart pure In the eyes of the Emperor? Demons will literally swallow your planet whole. And a clerical error will literally result in a whole city dying of hunger.
I ABSOLUTELY Love Warhammer 40k lore. I'm one of those guys who says "No" when people ask "Star Wars or Star Trek" because 40k is honestly better than both of them.
The lore of 40k is so deep that you will never run out of things to read and be amazed about.
I wonder how I'll act around people fresh to the franchise when the movie does roll out.
I for one will definitely buy a premier screening ticket in cinemas nearest to me.

I've never actually explored MTG. The only thing I can relate it to was Mt.Gox which from what i read was originally an online marketplace for MTG cards before it descended into a crypto shithole.
Any suggestion on where do i start reading the lore of Magic the Gathering?

I'm also a fan of Warhammer 40000 lore. Above all I like its dark and desperate environment where there is only minimal hope.
Yes, the grimdark is the one that made it for me. Its actually a better form of escapism than fantasizing about cheery nice stuff for me.
