I am not perfect. In some days I have this problem too. If I don’t feel inspired or moved by something, I won’t be able to pen it out. And to summon the creative genie to help me out coming up with something, or whatever, can be a daunting task.

We all been there before. Yes, in some days, our minds just go blank. No matter how many cups of coffee we drink, or how long we stare at the laptop in search of an inspiration, it comes back Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Boh Liao. Kosong.

Few questions swimming in our head, What to write? Will people read? What if it’s boring?

Well the answer is: Who cares?

If you trawl Steemit’s trending or new postings, not everything is interesting to read. But there are people that enjoys the kind of story that you wrote. There is really no hard and fast rule of what to write.

If they like what you wrote, they will upvote, resteem, comment.

I do have my own blank & clueless remedy. They may not work for some of you, but may be able to help you in finding your own Inspiration. You can also experiment them and come up with your own remedy.

I FIND INSPIRATION IN THE LOO

Some people find it in the bathroom while showering or washing their hair. But I find loo is the best place for me to think. It’s the solitude time you have doing your thing that shuts you completely from the crazy world out there that enables you to think.

I USE THE COMMUTING TIME TO THINK

Whether you take train to work or Ubering, or even drive, use that time to reflect. You can even write about what you have observe en-route work or appointments.

I SIT AT THE CAFÉ

You will learn a lot from people around you in a café. Everyone has a story to tell. Imagine if you can read people’s minds and write a story around it. But don’t stare on people while looking for ideas (don’t get caught), some will find it rude or be cautious with you. If you were accidentally caught, just smile and look away.

I SHARE MY OWN EXPERIENCE

I am human. Sometimes I am moved or pissed by something that I see, read or even experience. So it’s a natural reaction to rant, discuss over the matter. But be professional, no names to be mention if it’s about work or people you work with. Can always come up with fictional names.

I READ & SHARE MY THOUGHTS

When you read others postings or trawl the internet for news or saw something on TV, you can share your thoughts about it too. It doesn’t matter if it seems logical or not, again chances are there will be people that agree or have the same thoughts similar to yours.

TALK ABOUT YOUR HOBBY, PETS, FOOD, KIDS, SONG, BIRTHDAYS ETC!

Or even talk about the community you are serving. By writing about any of the above, chances are you also share similar hobbies or favourites with the readers.

Do pause in between your writings if you need to. Save your work. Recharge yourself with whatever you feel comfortable with and then revisit your work again. Set a target when to complete your work. I usually give myself 24 hours to write and then post. If I have time and feeling more inspired within the 24 hours, I will write two postings.

In the event that you still unable to find ideas, it is okay. Some people just need time to find their own time, angle and courage to write.

Nobody can teach or tell you when to start or what to do exactly, the will power to do this is IN YOU. Only you can get your brain to work and fingers to type.

So who is Angiechin28?

Angie is a Mom with a mission (with a 10 year old daughter, 6 overweight cats and an overgrown baby man, ie: Hubs) is the Founder of HerPortal.co, the first online platform in Malaysia that connects & empower Women & Moms to affordable online learning (coming soon!), shareable contents, job opportunities, resources and go-to market opportunities to earn side income/sustain via tried & tested channels.

She discovered Steemit by accident after reading a friend’s posting on Facebook and decided to check it out because she’s too curious (not kaypoh ahhhh..) to find out exactly how it works. Since then, she never looks back.

Since she loves to post up her ramblings and contents (current fave is Facebook & Instagram), she might as well earn by doing so by posting up on Steemit’s platform and best of all, it’s the only online platform that she knows allows ANYONE to earn cryptocurrency by creating and posting up contents, by voting or commenting other people’s contents and so much more!

Bottom line, whatever you do on the platform, you will earn. How cool is that?

So, what are you waiting for? Sign up for Steemit already, it is FREE and you’ve got nothing to lose but an awesome opportunity.

Current tagline: You live only once, take the leap and discover where it brings you!

She can be reached at hello@herportal.co.
