Why stressing ourselves?

Sometimes ago, a certain university wanted to embark on a research and find out how strees can affect lives.
In other to come out successfully, they needed a lamb and keep it in a Pen/cage where they will see inside but the lamb cannot see them. They electrified the entire cage in the sense that the lamb will find it difficult to move around.

They then put its food to where they have electrified, so when the lamb try to eat, it will shock it.  It will move to different direction but the story won't change.
This continued and the animal needed some help but could not find any. Finally, it gave out and died.
The researchers then decided to try different method.. They then put little lamb together with the mother inside the pen.
In the same way they were to eat.

The little lamb will try to but experience what the first lamb went through. This again continued and the little lamb realized it has someone it can rely. It went to the mother and enjoyed some fresh milk from her.

The researchers were amazed to see how the little lamb had survived. With this they realized that the first lamb died because of the stress it went through and didn't had anyone turn up to. It would have survived if it had someone to bore some of its stress.

This story tells us carrying our stress alone can kill us. The mother lamb in this story is Jesus who is ready to give us rest from our problems.
The good book will say He who is heaven laden, come unto me and I will give them rest.
Carrying our stress alone can kill us like the first lamb.
I pray this evening the lord give us strength to come unto Him for rest.
