I've seen a lot of posts about the cold weather and needed to set the record straight.
-10C is not cold
It's way colder here in Northern Ontario, and even Central Canada.
Now that's Extreme Cold
This morning I couldn't even get my car started for work this morning, I had to hop in my wife's much better and more reliable mini Van.
Then on my walk to work from the parking lot, I actually had to wear my serial killer/bank robber Ski mask! (Yeah in Canada is so cold people actually have to wear them outside.
If you don't your whole face turns to ice, Like this
I know it's cold but this isn't the worst I've ever faced. It was even worst a couple years ago while I was still working farther north. We had temperatures that were -40C without the windchill.
The forecast look like this cold spell will finally be over in the next few days! I can't wait even this is too cold for me to be outside!

Yeah, we haven't got out much in the last few weeks.
Looks like the hell froze there, but at least the STEEM increase in the beginning of this here will keep you warm. It's quite bad that due to global warming the temperatures are going crazy and we see extremes all over the place, the 4 seasons are not anymore as we knew them when we were children. And above all,US president - the Trumpet - refused to go to Paris reunion to fight against the global warming and pollution at the global level.
Yeah, looks like we're having extreme warmth in a couple days.
You got down here very bottom Ontario beat by-20 still cold glad when this cold wave is done.
That's a pretty big difference in the same province eh.
Its too much
This cold snap has been long enough. We are going stir crazy at home with the kids inside.

Yeah man it's cold on this side of Canada too. -20 now but dropping lower today. I heard even New York is set to have their coldest day on record. What happened to global warming??

Leave it to you for the straight talk my friend. You never fail to extract a smile and a heavy measure of appreciation. It is cold. I have family in New England that are getting really stressed and have lost their sense of humour. Thank you for your humanity and common sense take on things. Be safe, be well.
