They know people in big cities need money to survive, because they can't or don't have the space to grow food in their apartments or their balconies. Military is a well paid job and has many commercials, i can see those Hollywood produced military commercials when i watch NBA games (the only sport i still watch sometimes). They are all well produced and look like video games. That's how they lure good people to kill for these corporations.
Even as a veteran myself, I absolutely LOVED your "Fuck the Troops" speech at Anarchapulco. You hit the nail on the head with this one too, Larken. Even the most hardcore statists should be able to see the light now, thank you!
i think if the u.s. wanted to win the vietnam war, they could have. i hear there were many restrictions placed on the military from the slugs in DC. the war (that is the invasion and occupation) was not meant to be won. but yes the Vietnamese people saw the atrocities, the napalm, agent orange, etc and it made them determined to fight back however they could.
