Another reason for them swapping from kingdoms to republics/democracies is more control. Whenever the banksters would indebt a kingdom, they could only control the people for a couple years/decades at most, as the debts would always disappear with the death of the king. But with the new systems they could indebt entire nations via the state that was supposedly "created by the voters", meaning they would be debt-slaves until the end of time, even if the government changes. Also, taxes in kingdoms were just a fraction of what we have to pay today, since there was just one family that consisted of the "ruling class", not thousands of politicians that all wanted a share.
