Canai Mamak KL is easy to find, not far from the four intersections of the BPKP, which divides the Lampineung, Lambhuk and Lamteh areas. Only hundreds of meters from Hermes Palace Hotel, the only five-star lodging in Aceh.

All menus at Café Canai Mamak KL have a nuanced, neighboring country that is still closely allied with Aceh. The KL which was tabulated in the name of the place refers to the Capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The place was originally pioneered by Acehnese who had lived there for a long time.

Typical Malay culinary is a mainstay of various forms; rolled curry bread, egg rolls, chicken curry chili, durian rolled, banana KL rolled, banana cheese cheese, cane kampong and other rolls. The rest of the menu is generally like briani rice and noodles. The drink is complete from arabica coffee, tea pull until various juices.

Café ini tak pernah sepi saat malam hari, dipenuhi remaja dan keluarga penghuni kota Banda Aceh. Jika akhir pekan, datang telat akan merepotkan anda mencari parkiran. Beruntung, ruas jalan Ali Hasjmy di depan lokasi diizinkan untuk parkir.

Canai Mamak KL gampang dicari, tak jauh dari simpang empat BPKP, yang membelah kawasan Lampineung, Lambhuk dan Lamteh. Hanya ratusan meter dari Hermes Palace Hotel, satu-satunya penginapan bintang lima di Aceh.

Semua menu di Café Canai Mamak KL bernuansa negeri jiran, Malayasi yang masih serumpun dengan Aceh. KL yang ditabalkan di nama tempat itu merujuk pada Ibukota Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Tempat itu awalnya dirintis oleh warga Aceh yang sempat lama bermukim di sana.

Kuliner khas Melayu menjadi andalan adalah canai yang diracik beragam; canai roti kari, canai telur, cabai kari ayam, canai durian, canai pisang KL, canai pisang keju, canai kampong dan canai-canai lainnya. Selebihnya menu umumnya seperti nasi briani dan mie. Minumannya lengkap dari kopi arabika, teh tarik sampai aneka juice.

Tempat ini sangat cocok untuk nongkrong bersama keluarga dan sahabat, bisa mengisi meja-meja di dalam ruangan atau memilih suasana outdoor di bawah payung-payung. Jika malam hari, lampu-lampu hias menambah semarak suasana. Betah berlama-lama di sana.

Saya telah beberapa kali singgah di sana bersama keluarga, tak pernah merasa bosan pada kedai dengan nuansa negeri jiran. Mungkin suatu saat nanti, saya akan bisa berkunjung ke Kuala Lumpur untuk berlibur. []
