On Sunday 2nd of this month, i spent a pleasant day in Ortigia, following the advice of a very dear friend and gourmet Felix palmieri. We decided to stop by and eat in this small restaurant, it was fun I must say as we enjoyed their scrumptious meals, There were fried ice, squid stuffed in squid, octopus salad, fish meatballs, and crepes full of salmon. Those are first meals ordered.
This is the best small restaurant to make reservations in advance, there are few available places, mainly those frequented by local residents, and therefore there are not many tourists.
They were very attentive to the seasonality of fish, and mussels and clams were truly excellent and also great for their size, and for their taste, warm appetizers, a surprises for the eye and for the palate, The first fabulous well-seasoned and just pasta cooking, we note with pleasure that the penne with sardines have something extra, the sardines are smoked and make the dish fabulous, The second course was exceptional, and the stork had almonds and a soft heart.It was amazing, and there was finally a lemon sherbet that ended a delicious lunch.
Average price considering the quality and quantity of the product.
However, the small advice is that even though they are still young, The room staff should receive more education and more attention.
We will gladly return to try other cuisine, because this restaurant was a very pleasant discovery
