Do you love to eat vegeterian food?
This stall is located on the second floor of a local fresh produce market.
This is one of the only stall that survives. There are approximately more than 20 hawker stalls here which are vacant.
It was pretty hot today. After parking my car, my wife and I walked the stairs up this hall way. There are lots of vacant stalls. Some are closed today.
This is the stall. It sells only vegeterian food. This is stall #31. The food that is cooked by the lady here always varies and seldom there are any food that is repeated. That's my wife who is wearing her purple shirt and short jeans.
During lunch hour, lots of people buy their food here. We were here today 25th February 2019 at approximately around 2.30 pm.
This was what was left. Still looks good. You could take as much as you want and each plate full cost around only USD 1. Believe it or not? You won't go hungry in Borneo Island.
This was what my plate looked like. There are some brocolli covered by the fried Enoki Mushroom, then there is some bitterguord cooked with egg. The rice is red not because it's covered with food colouring or blood. It's a type of rice grown in the farms of Sarawak by the native of the land which are unprocessed rice with husk still attached.
My wife usualy likes to scoop out everything that was in the stainless steel tray. On her plate, there were loads brocolli and cauliflower. She did not take any fried mushroom as she felt that the mushrooms were kind of oily after it was fried.
There was also free flow of soup. Today's special was the corn soup. This lady is really good at her craft. She cooked the soup till the everything in the soup was basically edible.
Those cubes are raddish boiled in the soup.

How unpopulated Miri is. The population of the city barely reach 500k. Neighbouring Miri is Brunei which is a country that has a population of barely 500k too.

First thing I notice was the pink or red rice. Interesting! Guess I’ll have to travel to Sarawak if I want to try some!! 😂😂

hahaha.. Patrick. I knew it would be noticed, that's why I made a note, in case it was thought to be colouring or blood dyed hahaha..
. If one day, you ever made it here, you would find this to be one of the most unpopulated land on earth. hahaha..
