A very affordable rich breakfast in Genting Sky Avenue

What do you normally eat for breakfast, when you're in Genting Highland? The problem there is, there are so many choices, and the pricing ranging around 15 to 20 fora breakfast. Sometimes, even you feel like wanted to eat something due to hunger, but the price will literally deter you and send you back to hotel room, make a coffee and walk the way out. You'll probably go to convenient shop, buy a piece of over priced bun, like 3x of the price compare to Kuala Lumpur, but still find it cheap there.

Fear not! Thanks to my friend @lovelemon point me to the right direction. I remember I once visited Richdad, but that was many years ago with a company trip coming for a convention. That time paying 10 bucks for a cup of coffee is really something not ordinary people wanted to do. So, in my opinion this was supposed to be one of those premium coffee shop! Not until I was reintroduced to this shop again, and breakfast set ranging between 10 to 15! Seriously affordable in my opinion.

Don't expect the outlet to be very classy, but they did it clean and very comfortable style of old coffee shop. In Genting, in door usually are slightly warmer. Bring your own fan if you're scared of sweating. I think most people find it comfortable, but I am the one who always choose to enjoy cooler environment.

We ordered two sets of breakfasts, one of them supposed to be Penang Char Kuey Teow, fried flat noodle. The noodle is alright, very soft and smooth. The prawns are fresh. The egg is nicely blended with the noodle, but somehow it just taste way off compare to proper Penang style. Looks like they need cockle and Chinese sausage. Well, not going to happen. This is a Halal Restaurant! So, my dear Muslim friends you are all welcome to join me at Richdad. Don't get me wrong, the noodle is ok, it's just not so Penang. In Genting, for the price of 11.20, with a cup of coffee, this is outrageously affordable!

Do you eat half boiled eggs? It's been awhile I haven't take these stuff, because the toast bread with butter and kaya paste is really fattening. The treat is, coming to Genting for a short vacation, one simply can't really do diet here. There's very little "go slim" meal from the menu. As soon as I cracked the eggs, the yolk is so orange, gave an idea of these are very high nutrient Omega eggs. The butter spread and kaya paste on the toast bread being dipped into the eggs really brings my taste butt to another level of joy.

They do have cakes for breakfast set menu, so kids will be delighted to have their breakfast here. I can't tell if this cake is good, I will come back and try it next time, hopefully this restaurant review doesn't change their price tag in future.

Here, take a look at the food bill, it's absolutely amazing considering this is some really expansive place within Malaysia. For less than RM30, it feds both adults with free coffee is consider really-really affordable, not forgetting they really taste good.

Apologize on the exposure, my phone has been blinded by all these colorful and tasty food during my recent trips. I'd like to visit some of these Richdad outlet in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor area, just to grab a taste of what I feel in Genting.

Overall, cleanliness of the cafe is very satisfying. Those staffs are properly trained and attentive. They're busy, but not to an extend of ignoring customer request. We're quickly served with menu before we even sit down, and after I wrote my orders, before I send the sales docket to the counter, floor manager already rushed over and take my order from me. I'd say, Richdad Skyavenue outlet is a place that I don't mind visit over and over again for breakfast as an when I come to Genting for short vacation.
