Greetings earthlings and welcome to #TarotTuesday! I don't have much time to write since I am meeting some yogi friends for an expresso flow class and then lunch tomorrow to flesh out some yoga teacher training projects so I am going to get right down to it.
"What will the theme of this week's energy be?"
The rune I cast is called Kenaz meaning "torch". Torches are symbols of enlightenment, knowledge, and the illumination of something once not seen. Expect the energy of this coming week to shed light on a matter that you have been pondering. With the energy of Kenaz, we can expect to see the exposure of something hidden to gain new knowledge and inspiration. Something is coming clear...
The first two cards I drew indicate that the theme of this week is about disparity being present within a situation with another person in your life and you are having second thoughts as a result. You both are not on the same page and things feel out of balance. You are wondering if it is worth sticking around anymore, considering the way this person is interacting with you is automatically setting you up to be put in a lower position, beneath them. This person is offsetting the balance that would make things fair by exchanging energy with you in a way that does not promote reciprocation but instead indebtedness or one sidedness, not an equal give and take. It's a good thing because you will see this for what it is and distance yourself instead of continuing on in this manner with this person.
The next question I asked was,
"What is this energy going to look like?"
The person involved in this disparity with you will be feeling alone as you distance yourself. They will be deeply introspecting about you at this time. Here we can see they will be looking in your direction as you sit comfortably on your throne. The throne of the Empress symbolizes our personal feminine power. You don't care for the way their "me first" behavior makes you feel and you aren't going to accept that which you do not desire when you stand in this powerful Empress energy. She knows who she is and isn't going to waver or compromise that by continuing on with someone who is not honoring her or themselves.
The last question I asked was,
"What is our best course of action this week in regards to this situation?"
The best course of action is to think and be in a lone wolf mentality this week. Since this person wants to be in charge and set themselves up to have some sort of power over you, show them how destructive an illusion that is by sneaking away, avoiding them and this situation of imbalance. There is no need to interact with them at this time really because they haven't softened the unyielding energy they radiate and still want things their way. It's really best to sidestep them altogether to help them see clearly where this energy gets them when it comes to you.
