As of end of November, I left my "regular" day job and started blogging on Steemit full time. Steemit has given me the financial freedom and time to live the life I have always wanted to live. Being a blogger has allowed me flexibility to travel and write. I wake up every morning feeling so thankful and grateful to be alive during such a wonderful time!
I have been blogging about my travels for the past three weeks, and it has been fun and educational. This week, I got to travel to Taiwan to visit my family. It has been over a decade since I have seen my relatives and grandma. Reflecting back on my Steemit journey, I can honestly say that I wouldn't be here with my family if it were not for all of your support! So thank you so much, for making this trip a reality! I just wanted to give a personal shoutout to all of my longterm friends and supporters. Because of the Steemit community, I got to see my grandma, who I love dearly! She is now 96, and still sharp as ever!

Thank you again, for making this a reality! I've missed my Taiwan family a lot, and I am so happy that I got to spend some quality time with each and every one of them.

Oh wow, that is amazing!! Honestly! Steemit and Dtube will change so many more people's lives, but I'm so happy for you! You've got to enjoy my home country and I hope you will be going back there soon. Maybe one day we can meet and you can show me your yoga moves :)

This is absolutely fantastic. It's so great to see someone do on Steemit what I want to do in the near future, you've set a great example. I remember when I first started to browse the site, there wasn't much and it seems like in the past 6 months things have really started to take off with the platform. Thus, making stories like yours possible. Really happy to see that you're living the life you want and that the Steemit is helping you do that. this is incredibly inspiring - and something i aspire to! im new to steemit but absolutely love some of the people ive connected with here, and using it as an outlet for my poetry and art has been so incredible - even in just a short amount of time. i look forward to having more steemit in my life and definitely your post and steemit achievements are something i aspire to! thanks for sharing!

Taiwanese people are awesome , and interestingly enough I know quite a few whose grand parents lived till 100 or more. Great country, loved it! Happy that steemit worked out for you Karen!
