Never underestimate the power of the propaganda machine over a people that is undereducated, not interested, reluctant to see the truth or just plain stupid.
It seems the US is doggedly intent on manufacturing a war with Russia, and I hope that this just indicates that the US is in the last throes of a dying self-proclaimed "superpower". It the "enemy" Russia is wise, they'll continue keeping playing it cool and wait until the US mastodon collapses under its own weight without bringing down the rest of humanity.
