Thanks for taking the time to check us out!
Looks promising, especially the focus on play2own (. . . a more mature way to call play2earn . . .) concept that is usually very hard to tokenise long term.
For us, play2own is about shifting the focus from "how can I make money playing this game?" to "what happens to my stuff?" A play2earn game doesn't need to give the player ownership of their assets; they could just churn out sellable tokens. If that game goes under, the player has nothing but said tokens which often plummet to zero.
With play2own, we want players to be able to claim ownership of the things they want to keep—or sell, if we're being realistic—as NFTs. By building support for those NFTs across multiple games (and hopefully one day multiple environments!), we'll add longevity to player assets.
TL;DR — If Surgent Gaming and everyone associated with it were to horrifically crash and burn because of [InsertReasonsHere], we'd want our NFTs to be capable of finding their way to other projects and/or metaverse spaces. Ideally, we'll try to get to that point without crashing and burning along the way 😜
Very important concept. Good explanation for people to understand the complexities of running things on the chain. 😎💪
