One of our best friends and top shop ambassadors has finally made it to Steem! Check out our boy Carlos Soriano aka @homefield!

Carlos Soriano is one of the most important members of the Bay Street Boards community. A friend of ours since we were teenagers, Carlos is a true Venice Beach local who's love for the city can't be matched! Now he's one of the best photographers in th earea, and we are blessed to have him as part of our squad.

Focusing on LA and its surrounding beauty has always been a main priority since Carlos first picked up a camera. It was always his favorite thing to highlight the natural wonders that surrounds the city and contrasting it with the urban grit that you can never get away from. Whether it be a lonely hiking trail, a secret surf spot, a downtown alley....Carlos can't get enough of his home town.

As he gained a following and reputation for his photography, Carlos became a staple in the surf community as one of the few camera guys who was always out there and understood a good surf photo. He never misses the opportunity to get an early morning surf session in - even if it's 4:30 am!

If you ever walk around the beaches of LA, whether it be Santa Monica, Venice, El Porto, or any random spot in Malibu, you might find Carlos perched up behind a rock, zooming in on the perfect shot. This post featured some of his work in the last few months of the Bay Street boys surfing crew, hope you enjoyed it!
