Bay Street Fall Surf Session

What’s up Hive Community!

We're stoked to be back on Hive!!

After a brief hiatus, we are back! Fresh from a stormy winter in Southern California, the Bay Street Boards crew is ready to bring you an electric summer of dope surf and skate content!!

To start off the new season, we got some nice photographs of a fun surf session from this last fall in Santa Monica. Prior to this swell there had been a flat spell of waves, but Bay Street starts to crank in the fall so everyone was juiced to finally get back in the water.

The day was gorgeous and warm, and the waves were small but clean. Everyone pulled up!!

The OGs got to work early — local ripper Jim had some fun walking the nose while our dad entered the water.

Sante wasted no time either, beginning the session with a massive floater on a “Lunker” model fish board he shaped himself!

Bay Street local and certified ripper John came out this day too! As always, he got some great rides. Love this shot of him with the jazz hands flying!

Shop friend Francesco does his thing on a right while two bystanders enjoy the beautiful morning.

Sante was having a blast on that fish board!! Generating major speed and flying out of sections. Super rad shot. You can see Sante’s leash is on his front leg because he is a rare species of surfer that always surfs frontside! Special talent..

Even the seagulls were stoked and trying to get in on the action!!

Shop homie and skate industry legend Slappy pulled up as well and got to work! Slappy was shredding this day and he was stoked to get some shots.

As always, Pops got some great waves on his Takayama longboard. The style master dropping in on a right!

Overall, it was a successful morning at Bay Street with the crew. Good vibes and good waves, the best way to start the day. Now the south swells are coming for summer so we’ll have to adventure to new spots… stay tuned for more adventures!!

Peace and much love!!
