RE: Do you believe in demons

in #supernatural7 years ago

Twenty years ago, I was visiting friends in Charlotte, NC. Charlotte was just beginning to grow, and my friends had just bought an old house to flip it. My friend told me about this great old house that he and a partner had just bought as an investment, only two blocks from their home. His wife asked if I wanted a tour of the house. We walked to the house which had been built in the 1920's, it was huge and had been used as a boarding house. We entered the home, on the ground floor were large rooms and a huge kitchen. The stairs were wide with great banisters. We went upstairs and there were four studio apartments with a small kitchen and a small bedroom in each. We went into the first two studios nothing wrong. But the third studio felt different, the air was thick in the kitchen area, I tried to walk into the bedroom, I only made it one step into the bedroom and could not move any farther in. I took one breath, the air was very hot and there was a taste of sulfur. The air was so hot it felt like it dried my lungs. The stench of sulfur was overpowering. I turned around and immediately began to leave the house. She asked what was wrong and didn't I want to see the rest of the house. I said, "Its a nice house, except for that room, I need to leave now." I ran down the stairs, still trying to blow the sulfur smell out of my nose. I waited for her outside as she locked up the house. When she came out, she again asked, "what is wrong?" I told her there was something evil in that room and she needed to get a priest to come in and bless the house. When we returned to her home, my friend asked,"So what do you think of the house?" His wife blurted out, "He thinks we need to get a priest to bless the house?" I told him that there was something evil in one of the rooms, the one in the rear on the left. He stared at me blankly with a weird look on his face. My turn to ask "What is wrong with that room?" He then told me that it wasn't a boarding house but a halfway house. The resident of that room had just been released from prison. The resident was a convicted pedophile and two days prior had to evicted from the room by the Sheriff's Department because he refused to leave. I have never had an experience like that before or since. That day, I took a breath from hell itself. So yes, I believe in demons.

Wow that was some intence experience to be so vivid to you 20 years later. I think that being shown the unseen realm is a blessing and in my case changed me from an atheist to a true believer thank God. Thanks for relating your experience .God Bless You

It was a physical experience. I felt the heat, my throat and lungs became hot and dry in a single breath. I tasted the sulfur, it was very real in the physical realm. I can never forget, even when I have my moments of doubt, I remember that hell is real and I for a small brief moment in time I experienced it. It is a blessing from God, my compass is always on Him, because I know what the absence of God feels like. God Bless You.
