Super Meatboy Gaming Review

Hello fellow gamers today I stepped out form multiplayer games a little and I wanted to make a review about a slighlty old game named Super Meatboy I don't really play singleplayer games I don't have patience for it , however there were always some games like this one that will crush my opinion about single player games.

Well when you are playing single players game failure becomes unavoidable fact in these games. Super Meat Boy is definetely one of these games. It is a quite hardcore game and you are going to die for several times but the most important thing is what are you going to react to this desperate deaths , will you continue or give up and quit this game ? To be honest that agony is the thing that is making Super Meat Boy is a fun 2D Platform game.

Well you will jump to the lavas , you will die to the blades and most of the time you will want to smash your keyboard for numerous times , however if you able to finish the episode you stuck in for days with a clutch you will understand the ultimate satisfaction in the 2D platform games.

Well after playing few levels you might say Duuh this is a child game Steeminator why are you exaggerating this game it is EZ !. However after you move forward a little the episodes started to become a little annoying and you will notice that the onscreen movement is pretty solid and amazingly responsive because you will feel that you are always in complete command of your actions. Well you need to use everything in order to avoid deadly traps created for you to keep you away from your girlfriend. That crazy meatboy speed , consecutive wall jumps and those hero jumps with precision will help you in order to complete these slighlty cancerous but fun episodes. The best part of the game is the more you think about the traps without knowing the map you die more , you just need to memorize the map and should finish without leaving your finger from speeding button and that is what makes it fun because average speed will never be enough to finish this game.

As I told you trust your reflexes and control because you are going to need them for the deadly dangers that awaits you in the Super Meatboy Universe. It starts as a easy fun child game but after couple of episodes instant nightmare mode and you need to stay calm after you give a taste to the dangers in game , vanishing walls , bosses with their own tricks and weapons , super fast paced levels and the levels that requires perfections. You just need to jump over every obstacle you face in this game just like you exactly do in life , otherwise you will never able to finish this game.

I got a friend who likes hack and slash games and he tries every hype game in the Steam but I never made him to play this game because after he trying few episodes and getting that slap in his face he instantly quitted with rage , I can't imagine how many people will quit it , if it started with a nightmare level instead of the easy innocent ones.

Overall I want to speak with some other things before I finish this review , there are few other aspects than controls and hardness that makes this game amazing and fun and they are design and music. Those pop artsy and dark design of the character and structure background of the episodes are just marvellous. You instantly get sucked in the game and you find yourself sweating with rage and trying to finish the episodes. Spoiler Alert if you have enough patience to come to last episode you need to beat the Hell if you want to finish the game.

To Sum up as a casual singleplayer gamer also a platform gamer I would definetely play this again it is amazingly fun and a top tier game , I didn't get much amusement from a singleplayer game after playing Maxpayne 2 but this game broke my all the prejudice to singleplayer games and you will probably see more indie style game reviews from me.
