We have a lot that has happened over the week so let's go. We had Tommy Robinson getting in trouble with the UK courts over his breaching the Free Press laws in England. However, I find it odd this happens the same time that the UK seized an oil tanker belonging to Iran. There are no coincidences.
A second story involving Iran is the fact they are appealing to the EU to help salvage the JCPOA agreement. Yet according to Trump and his handlers, Iran is seeking a nuclear weapon. The last leader of Iran admitted they had sought to build a nuclear weapon. However, it was more trouble and expense than they planned on having. At that point, they gave up. Basically, Obama gave them billions for giving up on something they had already given up at least ten years earlier. Anyway, none of this makes sense. The hypocrisy is insane.
Of course, we had a parade for very few people to see and this 4th parade with tanks costed about $4 million or more to drive up the road. So we can't afford basic necessities for Americans but we can pay for some stupid parade for no one to care about or see. Let's end on a good note, I came across an article where California is going to forgive $5.8 million dollars in student loans for Med School in exchange for treating more MediCal (California Medicaid) recipients. I do think every state should do this with all student loans. Think about, we pay an insane amount of taxes on everything. Living in Michigan we don't pay taxes on uncooked foods. Which means if you buy a bag of apples you don't pay taxes if they aren't cooked. However, if you buy cooked chicken from the Deli, you pay taxes because this is a convenience.
Denmark pays insanely high taxes until you consider what they are getting for those taxes. They receive guaranteed full-time employment, full medical coverage, and free education. Actually, these services aren't free because they are paying for them with their taxes. Also, they get paid maternity leave for both parents. If they decide to switch jobs they can without any stress. So is paying one high tax worth it? I say yes. When the people are benefitting from the taxes they are paying. We don't benefit directly from our federal taxes. Hell, we barely benefit from local taxes.
Here are the article links and I post the video link as well.
