Coming from you that's significant. I wrote this just tonight so it's brand new. What I meant about "I don't know what I'm doing" is that many of my artist friends are extremely focused with their art. They have shows or are trying to get gallery shows. They have themes and purposes and well-thought out meanings. I have none of it. I have an ocean of ever-changing random impulses that don't seem to be anchored in concrete purposes, desires or goals. People often see it as a gift, but it feels like nothing to me because it's a transient flow of ideas, a few of which make it out of my mind and into reality.
