In the past few post I have been talking about how to cultivated a success life in all ramification, today am going to duel on why you need to have purpose to be prosperous, so sit and don’t go nowhere.

Every normal human being have the desire to be successful, be it at work or in life entirely but this desire cannot see the light if hard work in not driven in the right direction.

Now let’s dive into the business of today.
How does purpose helps you to be successful?
But first let get an insight of what purpose is.

In it's simplest term purpose is the reason for whatever you are doing. It is the desire that pushes one to go out and achieve. Purpose makes you never to give up but keep fighting until the desire result is achieved.
To be successful in life, one must be a person of purpose. A life without purpose is characterized with stagnation and no progress!
Without purpose life is just an experiment. Successful people have a clear sense of purpose and direction in every area of their lives.

according to Robert byrne “the purpose of life is life of purpose.”

Without purpose life is meaningless, void and empty.

socrate the great philosopher, wrote, “an unexamined life is not worth living”.

God of purpose created your life for a purpose. Every created thing has a purpose. The purpose of a car is for transportation, is to make you mobile, the purpose of an electric bulb is to light the environment.

Lack of purpose leads to frustration and stagnation. A life without purpose is a life without result. A life without purpose only ends in shame and regret. Purpose provokes you to ask questions such as: what will you be? Why are you in this relationship? Why do you choose this vocation or career? Why are you in this particular trade or business.

martin luther king jnr said, “if a man has not discovered something that he is willing to die for, he is not fit to live”.

Martin was talking about purposeful living. You were born for a purpose, you were to live for a purpose and die for a purpose.

WHAT A PURPOSEFUL LIFE CAN DO FOR YOU

Purpose gives you direction.
You get lost in the busy road of life, if you have no direction.

Thomas caryle said: “the man without purpose is like a ship without a rudder, a waif, a nothing, a no man.”

Purpose gives direction in all aspects of life. If your business lacks direction, you will soon fold up. If your career is devoid of direction, you will never reach the top of your career. An aimless adventurer is bound to hit the rocks, “purpose serves as a guide for determining the best path to a predetermined end.”

One day a traveller in a remote country town, convinced that she was on the wrong road came, to a halt in a village calling one of the villagers to the car window, she said, “friend I need help. I am lost.” The villager looked at him for a moment. “do you know where you are?” he asked. “yes” said the traveller. “I saw the name of your town as I entered.” The woman nodded her head and asked again.

“Do you know where you want to be?” “Yes,” the traveller replied. “you are not lost she said you need direction.”
Purpose directs you to where you want to be. You won’t be lost if you have a purpose. The traveller had a purpose. She knew where she wanted to be. That was why the villager told her she was not lost.

it seems universally true that people who have direction in their lives go further and faster, get more done in all areas of their lives.

Purpose helps you to work with precision and to be focused.

if you know where you are going, any road will lead you there; if you don’t know where you are going no road will lead you there.

PURPOSE PROMOTES PRODUCTIVITY

No one can be fruitful, production and successful without purpose.
Purpose drives you to be productive. The purpose for doing what you are doing inspires you, energize you to be creative and productive.
You cannot score a goal without a goal- post. In the same way you cannot be productive without purpose. Until you know the purpose of your action, you won’t be productive in life.

Have you discovered the purpose for your life? How old are you? Are you still questioning what you are about, are you still thinking whether or not to marry? Are you still wondering what kind of business to do? Are you fifty years old and still looking for a job transfer or change of location?

You must take a hard look at yourself, because it is necessary for you to be productive, unless the purpose for what you are doing, you won’t be productive. You will busy doing meaningful and productive work,
When you discover why you are in that relationship, why you are in that trade or business, why in that profession.
At twelve years of age, jesus was busy with his purpose- to save mankind. What about you?

”the purpose of life is not to be happy, but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, and to have what it takes to make some difference that you lived at all”

Purpose prevents you from being busy but not productive.
Many are unproductive today not because of lack of talent or ability, but due to lack of purpose. The poorest person is not the person without money, but the person without purpose. The difference between been rich and being poor is lack if purpose.
Research studies in psychology show that those with purpose in their lives are healthier, happier, more productive and live longer than those whose lives lack purpose.
