Finding The Right Formula For Success

I am slowly following a new outlook in life. Yes, searching for success is an old story. Success is part of my new outlook, but for me to find success, I must find the means for me to become successful. Success is just part of the equation, not the end game. The end game is constant repetition and paying it forward. But for me to include success in my equation, I'm gonna need a different formula to complete a different equation.

A few years back, I have been jumping from one job to another. I wanted success, but I didn't have the right formula for success. I had the fire to become successful, but all I did was burn out. I had the drive to go to work, but I ran out of gas. Turns out, fire and drive was just part of the equation. I continued my soul searching and ended up working in a hotel as a pastry commis chef. It was some sort of a dream come true for me since I had the passion for pastry. But that passion didn't do enough justice for me, because I ended up quitting my "dream job". Then I started thinking, what if I combine those three traits and make it my source of fuel to work? Fire + Drive + Passion. All I needed was the right job and the perfect environment for me to blend in. I went back to the industry that I started to grow into and love and things started to make sense. But it felt like something is still missing. I applied the formula I came up with but still I came up short. I fell into a deep hole and had troubles outside work. My family was unstable and falling apart. So I had to go back to the drawing board. Then I made my family my motivation to go to work. My real reason to work. And it clearly fits into the equation. Then a few months back my family and I started going back to church, and everything seems to be working fine. Fire + Drive + Passion + Motivation + God. Right now, it seems like I'm starting to do things right and I'm hoping this equation will become a stable formula for success. My success. And when success is built up, I will be starting a new equation for another formula: Paying It Forward.
