I agree with most of what you said... (and who needs normal jobs anyway?)
Reading about Hustlers I think I have some of their qualities ...I'm not one of the 'usual' people... I'm someone who does what he wants regardless of what people think... and I'm someone who cares more about 'art' than 'money'... if you follow me you'll notice that in everything I do.
But at the same time, Hustlers work constantly on the same thing until they succeed.. I'm not like that, yeah I work hard.. and failure doesn't stop me!! even if I fail creating what I 'want' I'll continue to do try... UNTIL I feel something is more important at the time.
You see, I'm a person who lives the moment.. if there's something inspiring and amazing I wanna do. I WILL do it!! nothing is more important than that...
But at the same time I can't predict what's that thing and when until it happens... a moment where my mind 'snaps' and I gradually stop everything I do for the next big thing!!
That's why I have many unfinished projects in many fields (mostly #art and #gamedev) But when I do a finish a project... you'll really feel my vision in it. (I mean look at my articles, most people I know say they're well written.. so if they weren't lying?).
I know this aspect of my personality is a problem... But trying to change made me depressed. So until I find a solution, I'm trying to get the most of it, gaining knowledge and experience from a field and use them in another (the fields I zigzag between are related so it's not farfetched) and by the way.. I return to my unfinished projects once in a while to finish more parts of them... so it's not that bad.
I love your comment because it's realtalk! I feel you on unfinished projects. I am interested in so many fields it's crazy lol. I have had to narrow down what I am focusing on so I don't have a list of unfinished projects lol
Good for you!! Hope I improve myself so I can do that.... lately I decided to not start something I think it'll take me more than a week. (you know developing games or writing long novels take months right?) so I have less unfinished projects.
