Indeed When I used to back once every year or 18 Months I would spend at least 2=3 weeks there and one week n transit back and forth, Now with my lung Issues I don’t go back anymore

But you are always in contact and they come and visit you sometimes? And at least you have your own family in NY, what is most important.
It’s ok I can’t complain was fortunate enough to have travelled a lot I still keep in regular contact with them mostly by text these days but yes my wife’s son is in many ways a clone of me and we get along so well and we spend a lot of time with them and will be even more when we retire in fact our granddaughter insists we get a place big enough so she has a room and she plans to visit us a lot 😎
Lets hope they are like you and not me, MY closest family members are 9000 Miles away LOL
9000 miles? That's a bit more than one gas tank ;)
This would be too far and I hope they are really like me and stay closer ;)
I am sure yours will be closer, apart from me all of my siblings now I’ve within 10 Minutes of each other :)
And yes more than one gas tank, three full airplane gas tanks and half of a cars gas tank drive :)
That's too far away for a Sunday afternoon visit. But at least, when you fly to NZ you will have them all together on one place :)
