There are no quick fixes in life.

You can't take a shortcut to your goals and dreams. Your road to success and happiness are not always going to be easy. Often times it does require an exhausting amount of blood, sweat and tears. But starting out on the right foot and getting in with good habits has some quick fixes and easy tricks.

Drink more water:
science has proven that drinking plenty of water is so good for your health – from higher metabolism to the fact that, when you're drinking water, you aren't "thirsty" for anything else that may not be as good for you.

Meditate:
reducing stress and imbalance in your life can start with just being quiet for a few minutes at a time.
This will help clear your mind of distractions that pull you off course. If you pray, then take that time to focus on your gratitude and devotions.

Exercise:
you don't need to belong to a gym, but if you can, at least get out and walk. Move your body and you will feel much healthier. Can you do 10,000 steps a day? How about 5,000? It literally is just one step at a time.

Sleep:
When you get plenty of rest, your mental, physical and spiritual self get the opportunity to reset and rejuvenate.

Expand your mind:
it's easy to get caught up in the daily grind. Your routine is set on work, rest and play.
How often do you take the time to learn something new or revisit some of the trainings that got you where you are?
Use your commute or time on the treadmill or moments you would normally have the TV mindlessly in the background to read or listen to something that inspires you to greatness.

So, while it's true that success has no shortcuts, no matter where you are, these "quick fixes" can get you started in the right direction.

P.S. Capitalizing on right now—the present moment. The present moment is the only time for fulfillment and happiness. Each present moment is where ALL of your opportunities lie.

Stop wasting so many of your present moments, and live a more fulfilling and energized life.
