Its fascinating - how our brains work :)
There is so much to learn about the brain - but learning how it reacts to stress is perhaps the most vital piece of handy knowledge !
In the "good old days" humans where constantly threatened by nature - predators lurking everywhere.
Our brain develloped a feature that saved us, and that feature we now call stress.
When we are threatened, the brain shuts down the frontal lope - this is no time for pondering or playing, this is the time to either fight or RUN AWAAAAAAAY !!!
...and it obviously saved us - since we are still around :)
But in modern life, this is rarely a good idea - imagine you are asking for a raise from your boss, but you just end up stuttering and then run away :/
The solution is simple : when you feel that sensation of stress, take a deeeeeeeeep breath and feel your heart. this is a proven technique, and with practice you can easily master it :)
This will permanently deal with the tragic tendancy to sell your stocks in panic - just breathe and hodl :)
