B&W streetphotography: Cuban people queuing to buy bread in Havana

Hi to all my Steemit fellows!

I am here with another entry for the #streetphotography contest organized by @juliank and @photocontests.

I took this photo in the very historic part of Old Havana, just a few blocks from the iconic Cuban landmark El Capitolio. I must admit that the sight of poor local people queuing to buy bread was a pretty emotional moment for me.

My homeland, the Czech Republic, used to be a communist country too and although I was too young to remember how different the life was back then, I had quite a clear idea of that from what my parents told me.

Having to wait in long lines to buy food was one of the aspects of living in that infamous era and it felt really weird (and somewhat uncomfortable) to see something like this now, almost two decades into the 21st century.
