You'd think that for a place with so much bike traffic -- they've have smoother surfaces to bike on than cobble-stone roads. hahaha.

I guess it gives the town a heritage or rustic feel, and is better than gobbling up all the oil in the world for asphalt pavement. I've never been there, but by look at this image, I think you've nicely captured the spirit and feeling of this town. It looks very quiet and peaceful. Great image.
