Having a strong community is extremely important when you're involved in the growing world of Blockchain technology. With hundreds of scams running rampant across the web, it's important for teams to identify and recognize these threats. Without a powerful community, blockchain-related projects can eventually evaporate into nothing.
Blockchain development platform Stratis has the perfect example of a strong community. On April 25th, Stratis Slack member snappaz decided to Install a "secure wallet" which was posted by a new member in the Slack. Everybody makes mistakes in the world of cryptocurrency and this is one that shouldn't be repeated by anybody. After downloading the wallet app, a piece of malware found his locked wallet file and automatically loaded it into the application. This was all done without the knowledge of snappaz.
You WILL lose your money.
After the tokens were stolen, snappaz decided to explain what happened in detail. Due to the Stratis Slack being a strong community, everybody sympathized. Since snappaz has been a valuable member to the community, dozens of people decided to pitch in what they could in order to help heal some wounds.
The donations are still pouring in for snappaz. Even though the donations are small, this is proof that the Stratis community is one of the best communities in the cryptospace. Since snappaz has learned a lesson on not to trust third-party wallets, it's guaranteed that he won't be repeating this mistake ever again. Time heals all wounds and with the help of the Stratis community, hard times can become easier and managable. Even if you don't actually send your coins to these applications, they'll be able to find your wallet files and steal your coins.
With Stratis launching the Breeze Wallet soon, things are looking amazing for both the project and the community.

Hi, unfortunately agamavault.io is a phishing clone of the original website supernet.org Agama is a real wallet but the download link on the phishing website directs to a malware. We in the Supernet community have found about the scam in last couple of days, it's been reported to the registrar and police authorities but it's still online. Btw Supernet holds a good chunk of Stratis in our budget, I hope we can one day integrate Stratis in the real Agama wallet

If the user snappaz wants to report to the police, I have found some info about the scammer that can help to track him. Please contact me on bitcointalk
Brings to mind the saying 'don't put all your eggs in one basket'. Some humans are awesome in the way they help others. Thanks for warning the community about the scam wallet.
Wow! Strong community ... now i will take a closer look at this crypto... thank you
Appears to be an amazing community, almost like family :)
Nice to see

Enjoyable post Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. Buy low, sell high, it seems so simple but most investors still don't seem to get it :-) Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com Every single coin can be analysed here based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model and much more.
