I remember that instance that my father saw those insects that is always seen on pepper leaves. He bought Malathion, made a solution of half of the 60mL bottle in a bucket and started applying like drizzling water in a single pepper plant.
I was so furious because the smell fumigated the whole house. I mean the whole point of planting in the backyard was to avoid pesticides but my father without thinking about it just wasted money with that pesticide, nearly poisoned us, and I don't know what happened to the pepper plant.
Plus he is a plant whacker, plants don't survive much when he is caring for them. He killed my Passion fruit vine too :/ @ironshield
Short-cuts in gardening usually do not go well. It takes some effort, but we're inspecting the garden every day and plucking off the worms when we see them. They hide so well!
