Chapter Seven:The Mighty Balrog!!

Several hundred pages were ripped off. It seemed like someone was in a hurry and aggressively did this. ... all this history was lost....what we do know was that Dhirm and Uxkhal was recaptured by the Holy Council. It is unknown what year these events happened.

953 AC
The Holy Council continues to be threatened by the barbarian tribes in the south and the Northern Kingdom ruled by King Shi Rui is also attacking the Holy Council constantly.

The tribes of the south eventually united and one leader was made. His name was Balrog The Deadly. Balrog was a very vicious and violent man who killed Holy Swordsmen at the age of 15. Balrog is known to be the greatest warrior during this age. Balrog's only tactics and strategies in battle and war was to kill with hatred, kill with vengeance and to kill for happiness.

954 AC
The barbarians unleashed a huge raid on Wercheg and all surrounding villages. Peasants were fleeing from day till night crying in fear. Elder Marrius of the Holy Council dispatches a force of 50,000 crusaders to annilhate this threat. The barbarians lead by Balrog was too strong and even crusaders didnt stand a chance against Balrog's mighty strength. Elder Marrius sees Balrog as a wild animal so he leads an army personally to garrison Wercheg. Balrog used ladders to place on the walls of Wercheg. Balrog's barbarians scream while they get shot by Holy Longbowmen. Balrog's army did not give up and continued to press on the siege. Elder Marrius saw Balrog and yelled at him "Balrog! I challenge you to a duel! Do you accept?! However, I will only duel you if you pull back your troops and come here alone tomorrow!" Balrog laughed and pulled back his troops. Elder Marrius was very glad.

On the next day, Balrog arrived at the gates of Wercheg, and Elder Marrius opened the gate and went out alone. Balrog believes he is the most mightiest and unstoppable. Balrog laughed at Elder Marrius and told him he saw through his plan. Balrog rushed upon Marrius with his twin axes while Marrius blocked with his sword. Marrius was struggling at Balrog's mighty strength and fled. Balrog laughed and said "Hahaha! You coward! Are there no warriors that can defeat me?!" Marrius knew that if he fought Balrog for only 5 seconds, he would of been killed and shivered in fear. Marrius needed to tire him out. Marrius asked his generals... "Are there no warriors here that can defeat Balrog?" His generals kept quiet.... Balrog warned them outside the gates. "If no one duels me, I will unleash my massive army upon you and kill everyone who is part of the Holy Council!"

General Gazillius rushed out with his sword and shield and fights Balrog. Balrog laughed at him and swung his axe at Gazillius. Gazillius blocked it with his shield but Balrog constantly smashes his two axes at his shield like a drum. Gazillius was under pressure and could not hold on anymore... he knew that Balrog is just fooling around with him. General Alio sees his friend Gazillius under pressure charges out there with his poleaxe and swings it across Balrog chest. However, Balrog quickly blocks it and start attacking Alio. Gazillius lifts off his big shield and attacks Balrog from the rear. Balrog fights the two Holy Council generals but he is still keeping up without any problems. Elder Marrius charged out and all three of them fights Balrog. The Holy Council soldiers were all cheering and watching the duel constantly. Balrog fights the three but no pressure seems to be put on him. Balrog seemed to be enjoying every second of the fight. The three began getting really tired and fled back into the gates. Balrog got very angry and demanded that he wanted to continue fighting. Elder Marrius wanted to test Balrog's strength and it truly is believed that Balrog was a warrior without equal. Elder Marrius gave the order to unleash arrows upon Balrog. An army of Holy Longbowmen appeared behind Balrog and shot him. Balrog turns around and tries to charge at the archers but the Longbowmen flee and then as Balrog moves farther from the city gate, the gate opens and archers come out of the gate. The archers fired there arrows at Balrog. Balrog was struck with 20-30 arrows in his body. Balrog was bleeding a lot of blood but he was still standing and breaks off the arrows stuck in him. The Longbowmen had there hearts filled with fear and ran away. Elder Marrius could not believe what he's seeing. Balrog yelled at Marrius "You... dirty old fool.... how dare you use these tricks on me?! I guaranteed.... that you... will die terribly... my army of barbarians will destroy you all!!!!" Marrius replied "This is called military strategy, something you wild blood thirsty savages do not know about!!" and ordered Gazillius and Alio to attack Balrog and chop off his arms. The injured Balrog tries to fight back but the injuries were too painful that even HE himself cannot resist and both of his arms were cut off. Balrog screamed in heavy pain! Gazillius and Alio tied up Balrog and captured him. Balrog the Deadly was then put on a Holy Cross for crucification. Over fifty strong men were required to put Balrog on the cross and nail him onto it. Balrog was bleeding terribly from being nailed to a cross. The populace looked at Balrog and was in total fear at Balrog's violent nature. Hours passed and Balrog seemed to ignore the pain and Marrius believed nailing him to a cross will not kill him so he ordered Balrog to be burned to death on the Holy Cross. While being burned... Balrog did not mind the pain of the fire... in fact he smiled... a big scary smile...As the flames engulf his body slowly, Balrog spoke his last words "Although I may die, my children, my people, my warriors and my legacy and wrath still lives! And One of my descendents will show you my true wrath!! Hahahaha!!" Balrog laughs while the flames burn him to death.
