My favorite chain of grocery stores here is called Auto Mercado. They have North American stuff and generally just things that gringos love. Much provider of course. When we lived in Long Beach I remember going to several Latin grocery stores looking for Costa Rican lizano sauce. I asked the butcher at one of those places in Spanish if they had it. Like most Spanish speaking people he didn’t understand me so I said my words again. Dandays just stood there like “you know he speaks English right”? Haha… freakin comedy.
