It started with Mr Ford who couldn’t stand the smell or sight of horse waste in the street.
From what l have read. He thought Horses were filthy animals and felt there had to be a better way of transportation
other than horses and trains. What a Genius if he can only see how things have advanced to what we drive today!
He would probably have to lay down from shock. From 1919 to 1923, primarily North America and parts of Europe
experienced the rise of the roaring Twenties. Social and economic circumstances underwent dramatic changes.
The economic power and high employment of the United States allowed certain Americans to spend more extravagantly on entertainment.

War veterans returned home seeking relaxation and comfort, instead of returning to their factory agricultural duties.
Watching movies and listening to the newly invented radio became increasingly popular during this period, which encouraged the desires of people in Hollywood style lives of indulgence and ease. This extravagance was ignited by the introduction of Henry Ford’s Model T, a car known as the Tin Lizzie. Cars became a major source of freedom and adventure as well as travel, and altered the standard of living for suburban and urban living purposes.
In addition, cars led to the creation of new leisure activities and businesses. It became the center middle and working
class life until World War 11.

The cars and vans of the sixties and seventies had V8 engines some fast but definitely gas guzzlers not very fuel-efficient,
but what a joy to drive. I had a sky blue Pontiac Bonneville 1970 and treated it like a Rolls Royce. In the summer
I must have cleaned it inside out four times a week minimum. There was no eating allowed in my car or drinking either.
Now vehicles are more gas efficient with the hybrids that use both gas and electricity or all electric.
Here are some of my favorites.B1D81456-F2C0-428B-A090-48DBF46FC72A.pngD01B77E1-4E94-4285-ADD3-5622399BAB2B.jpegA878F5E4-6685-4B4A-878C-F1BF41BDBEB9.pngDB72C703-8FF6-46CB-9BE2-8B72DE13723E.png
My personal goal is to trade my gasoline engine vehicle for a more environmental one that will cause less
pollution in the air. It our responsibility to take care of our planet we have done so much harm to it already behind
greed, stubbornness, stupidity, pride with no thought or concern for animal life or nature.
Let’s get our priorities together America!

Thank you lovely shamsa.

After recently making the switch to a Toyota Prius hybrid I would never want to go back to a non-hybrid. I'm averaging between 60-65 mpgs in the city. I'm with you, the next car will definitely be a Tesla. It shouldn't have taken the world this long to move to EVs. We could have had this technology decades ago. Great post!

Thanks my friend. Hopefully in four rears or sooner l will be driving a Tesla.
