RE: Steem Survivors - Fictional Series - Episode #2

in #story8 years ago

The great thing about this series being a community project is that it has many minds working on a singular goal. It doesn't fall into any individual bias, and it definitely shows in the story. The downside is that sometimes the story could feel inconsistent. A fine balance needs to be struck, but I have no doubt that you guys can achieve it. There's much room to grow, and this is already an improvement from the first episode. Formatting still needs a bit of work (note the stray __ and *, you might be editing on the HTML editor but you're inputting Markdown), but this is definitely a step up from the previous entry.

I see you tagged #descriptionsonthespot. That's great, but the way it works though is that you get a word from the comments that have no story attached to it. You can then link the episode as a reply to that. Acknowledge the poster of the word in the episode and try to tie it in to the story. That's the key thing that I mentioned before. The story needs to be inspired or, as much as possible, revolve around the word you chose.

I upvoted this as I believe in the potential of this series. I hope you guys get a chance to read, vote and comment on other stories in #descriptionsonthespot. Also, I hope you get a chance to read my latest entry when you find the time: https://steemit.com/descriptionsonthespot/@jedau/descriptions-on-the-spot-esoteric

Hey jedau,

thank you for your time reading this. We tried to focus and learn from our mistakes. With this feedback we will try to move episode 3 better. Thank you much!

As for the tag I got it know. Will soon be on my way to work where I will read some stories :)
