Random Short Stories that Make Absolutely No Sense #4 : The Hiccuping Spoon

in #story7 years ago

The silver spoon. It wasn't really silver, it was iron. That's why it was called the silver spoon. It died 3 months after it was born ( it died the same day of the month as it was born on). It may not have lived long but it lived a fulfilling 3 months of spoon life. It liked to be used to eat ice cream, hot pies and cake the most. Especially all three together cause it tasted good. Whenever Richard used his "silver" spoon he always wondered why none of his food left crumbs or why random chunks and pieces of his food went missing if he didn't eat it. The next day his spoon grew a face and told him he'd been eating his food. Richard decided to tell his sister about his talking, evil, food-stealing spoon. She couldn't have cared less but her pet "flying" pig from Mars did.

Those flying pigs eat spoons that are made of silver. Iron spoons eat flying pigs. The flying pig hid in the oven when Richard gave his sister the "silver" spoon. The pig thought that the oven was the only place he could hide in since he could open and close the oven door. Little did he know that the spoon may have been able to eat him but that spoon, in particular, didn't like eating flying pigs. He also didn't realize that the oven was on and the roast turkey was beside him, and now the roast pig.
