I believe in live and let live. I also believe in getting along. You know best the situations you've related and what might behind these things more than I. It's hard to pick up all the nuances that might exist from a post.

That said, in general, neighbors don't try very hard to get to know one another. Lots of these sort of things can be resolved through just knowing one another.

Realizing that there might be things that disturb the peace is not a bad thing. There is loud music and there is music that one can hear and enjoy. There is dressing in front of a window and there's being a little more discreet. People certainly don't need to peep, and people don't need to provide the peepshow.

In other words, there's a give and take. There will be things that I do that disturb others, and I know for a fact that there are things that others do that annoy me. So, we figure out a way to do things without ticking each other off, and we find ways to enjoy ourselves in the process without giving up any freedoms or feeling like we're second rate.
