If my reader gets bored, it means my story is not for him. Not every article or post would appeal to every audience. For this kind of story, it's preferably long because it's mostly descriptive. It has its specific niche, and those who enjoy that niche / genre will read it. All the same, thanks for your opinion @giftedwords. You need to correct a typo in your comment above though. It should be "it can easily bore your readers", not "bored your readers".
